This Privacy Policy explains how Walliee Ltd collects, uses, stores, shares and protects personal data when you use the Walliee mobile application, website, services, communications, support channels, subscriptions and related products.
This policy is intended to cover both the Walliee app and the Walliee website. Our website may also have a separate Cookie Policy that explains cookies and similar technologies in more detail.
Walliee is a parenting and family organisation app designed to help parents, guardians and caregivers manage child and pet profiles, tracking records, reminders, household access, subscriptions, support requests, bug reports and feature requests.
Walliee is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. Any health-related information in Walliee is provided for personal organisation and tracking only. If you have concerns about a child’s health, medication, symptoms, allergies, fever, growth or development, you should contact a qualified healthcare professional.

For the purposes of UK data protection law, Walliee Ltd is the data controller for the personal data described in this Privacy Policy, unless stated otherwise.
Walliee does not currently have a Data Protection Officer. If you have questions about this policy or how we handle personal data, contact support@walliee.com with “Privacy” or “Data Protection” in the subject line.
2. WHO CAN USE WALLIEE
Walliee is intended for parents, guardians and caregivers who are legally able to enter into an agreement with us and manage child, pet, household or care information.
Walliee is not intended for children, and children are not permitted to create their own accounts.
Any information about a child must be provided and managed by a parent, guardian or authorised caregiver who has the appropriate authority to provide and manage that information.
3. INFORMATION WE COLLECT THROUGH THE APP
We collect different types of information depending on how you use the Walliee app.
3.1 Account information
When you create or use a Walliee account, we may collect:
- first name and last name;
- email address;
- password or authentication credentials;
- profile photo, if added;
- account role, such as parent, guardian or caregiver;
- relationship type, such as mother, father, guardian, nanny, grandparent, sibling, family friend or other;
- sign-in method, such as Apple sign-in, Google sign-in or manual email sign-in;
- account verification status;
- account preferences;
- subscription status;
- legal agreement records, including acceptance of Terms, Privacy Policy and relevant versions.
We do not store your Apple or Google account password when you use Apple sign-in or Google sign-in.
3.2 Child profile information
Parents, guardians and authorised caregivers may add child profiles. Child profile information may include:
- child’s first name;
- child’s last name, if provided;
- sex;
- date of birth;
- profile photo, if provided;
- household association;
- caregiver sharing and permission settings;
- profile deletion status and related audit records.
We do not intentionally collect a child’s NHS number, formal medical ID, pregnancy data, due date, birth details, birth weight or hospital details.
3.3 Pet profile information
Users may add pet profiles. Pet profile information may include:
- pet name;
- profile photo;
- pet type or category;
- household association;
- pet care records;
- caregiver sharing and permission settings.
3.4 Tracking and care information
Walliee allows users to log and manage family care information. Depending on the features you use, this may include:
- feeding records, including bottle feeding, breastfeeding, pumping and solids;
- sleep records;
- medication records, including medication name, dosage, unit, symptom tags, images, notes and time;
- temperature records, including fever warnings or fever flags;
- growth records, including weight, height and head circumference;
- vaccinations and milestones;
- diaper and potty records, including stool colour, stool type, notes and warning acknowledgements;
- care routines, such as bathing, toothbrushing, nail trimming and ointment application;
- observations, such as symptoms, rashes, cough, congestion, diarrhoea, constipation, teething pain, ear pain, notes and uploaded images;
- allergy and allergen-related records;
- activity records, such as story time, tummy time, visual tracking and speech/language activities;
- pet feeding, medication, activity and appointment records;
- timestamps, notes and the user who created or updated the record.
Some of this information may relate to health, wellbeing or development. You choose what information to enter. Because this information may be sensitive, you should only add information that you are comfortable storing in Walliee.
3.5 Photos, files and uploads
You may upload photos or files in certain features, including:
- child profile photos;
- pet profile photos;
- observation photos, such as rash or symptom photos;
- medication photos, such as medicine packaging or dosage instructions;
- milestone celebration photos;
- bug report screenshots;
- other images or files supported by Walliee features.
Uploaded files may contain personal data or sensitive information. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to upload and share those files.
3.6 Caregiver, household and sharing information
Walliee allows parents or authorised account holders to invite caregivers and manage household access.
We may collect and process:
- caregiver invitation details;
- caregiver email address;
- invitation status, such as pending, accepted, declined, revoked or left;
- household membership information;
- child or pet profiles shared with a caregiver;
- feature-level permissions granted to caregivers;
- records of who created, viewed, logged, updated, deleted or exported data;
- notifications relating to caregiver access changes.
Caregivers can only view or log information where access has been granted by the relevant parent or authorised account holder. If access is removed, the caregiver’s access should be removed promptly.
3.7 Calendar, reminders and notifications
Walliee may process information relating to reminders, events and notifications, including:
- reminder type, such as feeding, medication, sleep, activity, temperature, diaper, potty or pet care;
- child or pet name connected to the reminder;
- reminder time and recurrence;
- reminder notes;
- notification preferences;
- push notification tokens;
- notification delivery records.
Walliee uses push notifications, including Firebase notification services. Reminder notifications may include the child or pet name and the relevant action, such as medication, feeding or sleep. Depending on your device settings, notification content may appear on your device lock screen or notification preview.
You can manage notification preferences in the app or through your device settings.
3.8 Support requests, bug reports and feature requests
During beta, Walliee may allow users to submit support tickets, bug reports and feature requests.
We may collect:
- title and description of the request;
- screenshots or attachments, if provided;
- device information relevant to the issue;
- app version;
- operating system;
- diagnostic information;
- user ID and contact details;
- status, notes and response history.
Bug reports and feature requests may be used to improve Walliee, prioritise development and investigate issues.
3.9 Subscription and purchase information
Walliee may offer free and paid subscription plans, including founding or promotional plans.
Subscriptions are processed through Apple, Google and RevenueCat. We may receive and store subscription-related information, including:
- subscription status;
- product or plan identifier;
- purchase date;
- renewal status;
- expiry date;
- entitlement status;
- transaction or receipt identifiers;
- platform used for purchase, such as Apple App Store or Google Play.
Walliee does not store your full payment card details.
3.10 Analytics, diagnostics and logs
We may collect analytics, crash and diagnostic information to operate, secure and improve Walliee. This may include:
- Firebase Analytics data;
- Firebase Crashlytics or crash analytics data;
- app logs;
- device model;
- operating system;
- app version;
- IP address;
- approximate location inferred from IP address;
- performance data;
- error reports;
- feature usage information;
- session and interaction data.
We use this information to understand how Walliee is used, identify problems, improve reliability and maintain security.
4. WEBSITE DATA AND COOKIES
When you visit the Walliee website, we may collect limited technical and usage information, including:
- IP address;
- browser type;
- device information;
- pages visited;
- referral source;
- approximate location inferred from IP address;
- cookie preferences;
- information about how visitors interact with the website.
We use this information to operate the website, maintain security, understand how visitors use the website, improve performance, respond to enquiries and provide information about Walliee.
Our website may use cookies and similar technologies. Some cookies are necessary for the website to work properly. Where required by law, we will ask for your consent before using non-essential cookies, analytics cookies or similar technologies.

5. MARKETING AND COMMUNICATIONS
We may use your email address and communication preferences to send:
- account verification emails;
- password reset emails;
- security alerts;
- caregiver invitation emails;
- service updates;
- subscription or billing notices;
- product updates;
- parenting tips, milestone content or feature announcements;
- marketing communications.
We may use email and communication providers to send these messages. Where required by law, we will ask for your consent before sending marketing communications. You can opt out of marketing emails at any time by using the unsubscribe link or contacting us.
You may still receive essential service, account, security, legal or transactional messages even if you opt out of marketing.
6. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION
We use personal data to:
- create and manage your Walliee account;
- authenticate users and secure accounts;
- provide Apple, Google and email sign-in;
- create and manage child, pet and household profiles;
- allow tracking of care activities, reminders and histories;
- provide caregiver invitations and permission controls;
- show statistics, histories and summaries;
- generate in-app exports, where available;
- send push notifications and service messages;
- manage subscriptions and paid features;
- provide customer support;
- process bug reports and feature requests;
- operate and improve the website;
- manage website cookies and preferences;
- respond to enquiries;
- troubleshoot technical issues;
- maintain security and prevent misuse;
- improve app and website performance and user experience;
- send product and marketing communications where permitted;
- comply with legal, regulatory, tax, accounting and business obligations;
- establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
7. HEALTH-RELATED AND SENSITIVE INFORMATION
Walliee is a parenting and family organisation app. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice.
However, some information you choose to enter may be health-related or sensitive, including medication records, allergies, temperature, fever flags, growth records, observations, symptoms, photos of rashes or other conditions, vaccination records and notes.
We process this information only where you choose to provide it and where it is necessary to provide the app features you use. Where required by law, we rely on your explicit consent to process health-related or special category data.
You can choose not to enter health-related information. You can also delete records or child/pet profiles through the app where available.
8. LAWFUL BASES FOR PROCESSING
Under UK data protection law, we rely on different lawful bases depending on the purpose of processing.
We may process personal data because:
- it is necessary to perform our contract with you, such as creating your account, providing app features, managing subscriptions and delivering support;
- we have a legitimate interest, such as improving Walliee, operating the website, maintaining security, preventing misuse, handling support requests, analysing app and website performance and managing business operations;
- you have given consent, such as for certain marketing communications, optional health-related information, push notifications where required, optional uploads, or non-essential cookies;
- we need to comply with legal obligations, such as tax, accounting, legal claims, consumer protection, security and regulatory requirements;
- it is necessary to protect vital interests, in rare cases where safety or urgent harm may be involved.
For special category data, such as health-related information, we may rely on explicit consent or another applicable condition under data protection law.
9. SHARING AND PERMISSIONS INSIDE WALLIEE
Walliee is built around households, children, pets and caregiver permissions.
A parent or authorised account holder may invite caregivers and choose which children, pets and features the caregiver can access. Depending on the permissions granted, a caregiver may be able to view, log, update, delete or export certain information.
Caregivers should only use information they can access in Walliee for the purpose of helping with the relevant child, pet or household. Parents and caregivers are responsible for ensuring that information is shared appropriately.
If a caregiver is removed from a household or their permissions are changed, their access should update accordingly.
10. DATA EXPORTS
Where export features are available, users may generate and download child or pet tracking data from within the Walliee app.
Export files may include profile information, tracking records, feeding, sleep, medication, growth, diaper, potty, activity, observation, pet care and related data selected by the user.
Walliee does not currently send beta exports by email. After downloading an export, you are responsible for how you store, protect or share that file, including if you choose to share it with a doctor, health visitor, caregiver or other person.
11. BUG REPORTS AND FEATURE REQUESTS
During beta, Walliee may provide features that allow users to submit bug reports and feature requests.
When you submit a bug report or feature request, we may process your account details, description, screenshots, device information, app version, logs and related technical data.
We use this information to investigate issues, improve Walliee, prioritise product development and respond to you.
Bug reports, feature requests and related records are generally retained for 24 months, unless we need to keep them longer for security, legal, product, dispute or compliance reasons.
12. COMMUNITY FEATURES
During beta, Walliee’s community-style functionality is limited to bug reports and feature requests.
Walliee does not currently launch full community groups, public posts, comments, likes, user avatars, community usernames or public social features as part of beta.
If Walliee later introduces wider community features, such as groups, posts, comments, images, moderation, reporting or user profiles, we will update this Privacy Policy as needed before or when those features become available.
13. WHO WE SHARE DATA WITH
We do not sell your personal data.
We may share personal data with trusted service providers who help us operate Walliee. These may include:
- cloud hosting providers;
- database providers;
- storage providers;
- website hosting providers;
- email and communication providers;
- push notification providers;
- analytics providers;
- crash reporting and diagnostic providers;
- subscription and payment processing providers;
- customer support and ticketing providers;
- security, monitoring and infrastructure providers;
- professional advisers, such as lawyers, accountants or auditors;
- regulators, public authorities, courts or law enforcement where required by law.
These providers are only permitted to process personal data for the purposes we instruct, subject to appropriate contractual and security controls.
We may also share information where necessary to protect users, investigate misuse, respond to legal requests, enforce our Terms, complete a business transaction, or comply with legal obligations.
14. INTERNATIONAL TRANSFERS
Walliee Ltd is based in the United Kingdom. Walliee may be available to users in multiple countries.
Our main hosting and database infrastructure is currently hosted in Azure in the United Kingdom. However, some service providers, support systems, analytics tools, communication providers, subscription platforms, website tools or app store providers may process data outside the UK or European Economic Area.
Where personal data is transferred internationally, we take steps designed to protect it, such as using appropriate contractual safeguards, recognised transfer mechanisms, supplier due diligence and security controls where required by law.
If you use Walliee from outside the UK, you understand that your information may be processed in the UK and in other countries where our service providers operate.
15. STORAGE, SECURITY AND ADMIN ACCESS
We use technical and organisational measures designed to protect personal data. These include:
- HTTPS/TLS encryption in transit;
- Azure Storage encryption at rest for uploaded files and images using Microsoft-managed keys;
- access controls;
- role-based permissions;
- caregiver permission checks;
- restricted administrative access;
- MFA for admin accounts;
- monitoring and logging;
- security and diagnostic controls;
- deletion and retention controls.
No system is completely secure. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials safe and for controlling access to your own device.
Authorised Walliee personnel may access user, child, pet, household, tracking, image, support, website or account data only where necessary to provide support, troubleshoot user-reported issues, maintain the security and integrity of Walliee, investigate misuse or safety concerns, comply with legal obligations, or operate and improve the service. Administrative access is restricted, role-based, protected by appropriate security controls, and should not be used for routine viewing of user content.
16. DATA RETENTION
We keep personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.
Retention periods may vary depending on the type of data, the feature used, legal requirements, security needs and whether you delete your account or specific records.
In general:
- account data is kept while your account is active;
- child and pet profile data is kept while the profile exists;
- tracking records are kept while the account or relevant profile remains active, unless deleted earlier;
- website enquiry records are kept for as long as reasonably necessary to respond and manage the enquiry;
- support tickets are generally retained for 24 months after closure, unless longer retention is needed for legal, security, dispute or compliance reasons;
- bug reports and feature requests are generally retained for 24 months, unless needed longer for product, security, legal or compliance reasons;
- subscription and transaction records may be retained where required for tax, accounting, legal or app store compliance purposes;
- legal consent records may be retained to demonstrate compliance;
- security logs may be retained for security, fraud prevention and audit purposes.
When you delete information from Walliee, we aim to remove it from active systems promptly. Backup, soft-delete or versioned copies may remain for a limited recovery period, generally up to 7 days, before being permanently deleted or overwritten according to our retention settings.
Uploaded files and images stored in Azure Blob Storage may remain in soft-delete or versioned storage for a limited recovery period, generally up to 7 days, before permanent deletion according to our storage settings.
We may retain limited information for longer where necessary to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, prevent fraud or misuse, or protect the rights, safety and security of Walliee, users or others.
17. ACCOUNT DELETION AND PROFILE DELETION
You may delete your account through the app where this feature is available, or by contacting us at support@walliee.com.
You may also delete child or pet profiles without deleting your entire account, where the app allows this.
When an account, child profile, pet profile or record is deleted, we aim to remove it from active systems promptly. Some information may remain temporarily in backups, soft-delete or versioned storage for up to 7 days. Some information may be retained longer where required for legal, security, accounting, fraud prevention, dispute, support or compliance reasons.
Caregivers may be able to delete data they logged if the parent or authorised account holder has granted the relevant permissions.
18. YOUR PRIVACY RIGHTS
Depending on where you live and the applicable law, you may have rights over your personal data, including the right to:
- request access to your personal data;
- request correction of inaccurate personal data;
- request deletion of your personal data;
- request restriction of processing;
- object to certain processing;
- request portability of your data;
- withdraw consent where processing is based on consent;
- opt out of marketing communications;
- complain to a supervisory authority.
To exercise your rights, contact us at support@walliee.com. We may need to verify your identity before responding. Where a request is made through an authenticated in-app support process, this may help us verify the request.
Some rights are subject to legal limits. For example, we may need to retain certain records for legal, accounting, security or dispute purposes.
19. CHILDREN’S PRIVACY RIGHTS
Walliee is not intended for children to use directly. Parents, guardians and authorised caregivers provide and manage child information in Walliee.
If you believe child information has been added to Walliee without appropriate authority, contact us at support@walliee.com.
Parents or authorised account holders can manage caregiver access, delete child profiles, delete records and request privacy support through the app or by contacting us.
20. MARKETING CHOICES
You can opt out of marketing emails at any time by using the unsubscribe link in the email or by contacting us at support@walliee.com.
Opting out of marketing does not stop essential service messages, such as security alerts, password reset emails, account verification, subscription notices or important updates about Walliee.
21. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES AND APP STORES
Walliee may interact with third-party services, including Apple, Google, RevenueCat, Firebase, Azure and other service providers.
Your use of Apple App Store, Google Play, Apple sign-in, Google sign-in or other third-party services may also be subject to those providers’ own privacy policies and terms.
We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party websites, app stores or services that we do not control.
22. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.
If we make material changes, we may notify you through the app, by email or by other appropriate means. The updated policy will show the latest “Last updated” date.
If you continue using Walliee after an updated Privacy Policy takes effect, the updated policy will apply to your continued use of Walliee.
